Did you know that October is Women’s Small Business month? I know the month is over, but it’s never too late to celebrate, right? Since I’ve started this blog I’ve worked with so many smart, funny, motivated, intelligent, bad-ass, girl bosses. A majority of the women who do what we do work extremely hard to grow and develop their brand, and small business.
One of the biggest criticisms Millennials face is that we’re lazy. But I’m pretty sure it wasn’t our generation that coined the saying “work smarter, not harder”. Am I right? Either way, we shouldn’t be condemned for finding innovative ways to get sh*t done. Now that there’s an app for literally everything, it really isn’t difficult to get things done without lifting a finger. So I’ve compiled a list of the 7 best apps for the lazy millennial in us all.
We’re basically already in the middle of fall. I can not believe how quickly time is flying! I’ve already done 3 of the things on this list. This weekend, Brendan and I will check pumpkin carving off of the list.
What do you guys want to do before fall is over? What have you guys already done?

Additionally, a temp can be let go at any time without any notice. It is a very precarious, and uncomfortable position to be in.
This post is for all of you who are temps trying to transition into a permanent employee.
In order to transition to a permanent position you must become the MOST VALUED TEMP (MVT). You can easily be the MVT by doing the following:

Whoever said death and taxes are the only two certainties in life did not go to college, and most definitely did not go to law school. Write this down little ducklings, because there is in fact a third certainty in life. You will at some point in your life definitely have a mean teacher or professor.
