Accidentally Traveling: Smoky Mountains National Park

I promised in the last blog post that I would talk more about my and Brendan’s hike. And here I am, doing just that!!

So while brendan and I were in Georgia for my family reunion we decided to do a nearby hike. Brendan did a lot of research and decided he wanted to drive 2 hours from Atlanta, Georgia to Tennessee. #LocalAdventures

So that’s what we did. We drove to the Smoky Mountains National park and hiked Mount Le Conte! It is hands down my favorite hike of all time. And it was my best time! It was a 10 mile hike, with a gain of 3500 ft. At the end of the hike we were a little over 6k feet.

That whole trip was a little stressful because we didn’t really plan anything out. We did not expect the area to be as popular as it ended up being. We got SUPER lucky though!…if you wanna know how check out part 2 of the Atlanta vlog on my YouTube channel. If you aren’t already following me on Instagram (@accidntal_adult) go ahead and do that! I’ll be hosting a special giveaway soon!
