I’m so excited to share some more personal photos with you all! If you watch my vlog then you know that Brendan’s family has a house on a small island off of Maine. We’ve been going up there a lot this summer. After a brief stint last summer, we’ve decided to start surfing!
So this past 4th of July weekend, we grabbed our surfboards, and wetsuits and we ran to the beach. We decided to try surfing at our favorite beach in Maine. It is truly such a beautiful beach. We went out while the tide was a bit low. It’s really cool because there are so many channels and little pools of water left behind. So the water is shallow and warm.
The water in Maine is freezing cold! But surfing was still so much fun! I swear that once we got started I didn’t even feel the cold anymore…that could also be because my body went numb…but I digress. Here are a few more pictures that Brendan took (gasp!) Hope you enjoy!
Today I am sharing my Franconia Ridge Hike with you all! I told Brendan that I wanted to go on a hike the week before and he decided on this hike. He 100% knew that I would enjoy the hike and all of its amazing views. He is so sweet for choosing this hike despite the fact that he’s already done it twice.
Getting more blog views has been the one thing I’ve worked on consistently since I created Accidentally Adulting. And it’s the most popular question I get asked. Let me tell you guys something: IT HAS NOT BEEN EASY! When I started Accidentally Adulting, I thought that creating cool and interesting posts would bring people to my site. And it sorta did…for a second. I had a core group of 15 followers. They were awesome, they commented. Life was great. But I wanted more. I wanted more people visiting the site and reading my posts. I wanted to feel like I was creating content for actual people, who were actually reading. So I started researching. I legitimately spent the first year of my blog reading blog posts and articles all about what I needed to do to get more people on my website.
A lot of it was actual bullshit. But some of it actually worked. So now I’m here to sort through all the bullshit for you and give you the goods straight up.
Welcome to the San Francisco portion of my California travel diary. Spoiler alert!:San Francisco is my favorite city in the entire United States of America. Now I haven’t been to a ton of U.S. cities, but I’m almost certain none can top how beautiful San Francisco is.
I’ve kind of been on a hiatus for a few reasons. I can’t really discuss all of the reasons why right now, but I will be explaining everything soon. However, a part of the reason I was gone is because I was in California. I had hoped to write and edit while I was there, but instead I decided to take the time to really enjoy the experience. I did vlog a bit while I was there, and I’m so excited to let you all know that I plan to release the California vlog in conjunction with the third and final California Travel Diary. This post will be the first of three, and the third will include a link to the California Travel vlog! So let’s jump right in!
